President Gaudino, if there was a grade higher than A+ you surely would have earned it for your outstanding work as our President. You will be missed. Good luck to you and Katie on your future endeavors.

Personally, and behalf of the Board of Trustees (those currently serving and those who have served during President Gaudino's tenure) I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for a bravura performance as President of Central Washington University. You have made a difference at Central. You have been the consummate professional and a friend. Thanks as well to Katie who has brought an extra measure of grace and charm to the University during these past 12 years. May this next chapter of your lives be filled with blessings.

It has been a true pleasure to be a part of CWU and see your strong leadership up close. You will be leaving a legacy here at CWU that will be felt for many generations. Thank you!

Thank you President Gaudino for your dedication, friendliness, leadership and service to CWU. Wishing you both the best.

Jim, thank you for supporting both myself and the student body of CWU as we go through our college experience. You helped create an environment conducive to both personal growth and professional development. Thank you for consistently being in my corner and giving me a platform and opportunity to represent CWU students. I hope retirement is everything you wish it to be. Take care Jim!

Sir you have been a great example of a servant leader for all of us and as a grand example I would like to focus in on your amazing ability to connect with people where they are. You have been a tremendous leader of our University because you care about people and you understand just how to reach them. You have an incredible talent and you should be proud of all of the people you have influenced, impacted, helped and inspired because the list is long and growing. Thank YOU so much for being our Prez, and for being our friend, partner and our rock. We could NOT have done any of this without you!

It has been an honor working with you for the last several years. Your leadership has put Central on a new and exciting trajectory. Enjoy your well-deserved next chapter.

Dear Jim and Katie,

It has been a real pleasure working with you and getting to know you during our time together as CWU colleagues. I've enjoyed our conversations at various Senate events, and especially a wonderful dinner in New Orleans that helped us get the General Education revision started! I wish you the best in the years to come, and look forward to seeing you around the town and region. Thank you very much for all your dedication to the students, faculty, staff, and community of CWU.

What a splendid career! Now for the next stage. Congratulations. Paul

Thank you for your service to CWU and for creating a safe and caring space for students to learn. Attending CWU has made a significant impact on my life and that is due to the wonderful mentors and leaders on this campus. Best wishes in your future endeavors!

Dear Jim,

I wish you good health and happiness in retirement. My association with CWU has lasted 63 years, beginnibg fall, 1957 as a 27 year-old Assistant Professor of Education, followed by 39 years as an active employee and the remaining years as a retired professor. Although I was not active when you were President, by way of observation and reports, I can tell you that you were one of our best Presidents! We will miss you and Katie. A sincere thank-you for all you did and gave to make CWU an even better university.

See you at a basketball or football game.
