I was lucky enough to spend time with the two of you during the Presidential Search. I remember being impressed with you then, Jim, for many things but especially for your trip to Ellensburg before your airport interview. You came back with lots of ideas, including building up the entrances to CWU on University Way. It's sure been a ride since then. I have enjoyed watching the two of you provide leadership in big and small ways. Thank you for your positive impact on our community. I wish you a blessed and active retirement.

Congratulations on your next step, and hope you and your family the most special years in the future.

This is the first institution I've attended or worked at where I saw the president on a regular basis, walking the campus, greeting students, staff, and faculty alike. You always made me feel appreciated and valued. Thank you for the sacrifice of leadership you have made to this great institution and community over the years. You have guided us well!

Best wishes to you both! Thank you for your service to CWU and your commitment to our veteran community. May you have fair winds and following seas.

Jim and Katie:'Thank you both for all the great things you have done here at Central. May your retirement be filled with family, with joyous adventures, and with love.

Be well,

Melody

It's been an interesting ride these last 12 years. CWU is a very different place now, with much needed improvements in infrastructure and several new buildings that have served and will continue to serve our students well. Congratulations to you and Katie on a well-deserved retirement!

As an Alumni of the class of 2012, I cannot be more grateful for the work you have done to put CWU on the map. I recommend it to my students all the time as an institutin where one can get a quality education, but still develop long last relationships with peers and faculty. Thank you for being a part of continuing and enhancing that tradition. Best wishes for the future adventure.
