CWUP 8-40-010 Waiver of Mandatory Student Fees
Mandatory student fees are fees initiated by students for programmatic purposes. Students may request an appeal of some of the fees under specific circumstances. A request for an appeal does not constitute an approval of that request; decisions regarding appeals are made on a case-by-case basis by a committee constituted through Student Engagement and Success.
The following mandatory student fees may not be appealed: Student Technology Fee; Central Transit Fee; Athletic Fee; Services and Activities Fee, Math and Writing Tutoring Fee, and Student Lobby Fee.
See CWU procedure, CWUR 2-60-010, for information to request an appeal of the Student Health and Counseling Fee, Student Union Building Fee, Student Wellness Fee, or Student Recreation Center Fee.
