A 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation formed in 1964, the central washington university foundation raises funds for the university, in support of the university's mission, vision, and goals. The foundation board of directors includes private citizens from throughout the nation. The vice president for university advancement serves as the foundation's executive director and manages the foundation's business affairs.
