The University Police Department has an inventory room of lost and found items. Individuals who find items are encouraged to turn the item(s) into the University Police department so that police officers can attempt to return them to their rightful owners. Individuals who have lost items should contact the department and inquire about the item they are missing.
Lost and found property is kept in a secured, locked area for 60 days before being released to surplus.
If you have lost an item please feel free to contact our office at (509) 963-2959 and we will see if it is in our inventory. Some departments maintain their own lost and found (SURC Information Booth, Chemistry Department, etc.), so make sure to check with any and all departments where you think you may have lost the item.
