Oct 12 2020 Panel Discussion: Racial Justice in the Time of Pandemic

Several Central Washington University (CWU) departments are collaborating to offer a panel discussion on “Racial Justice in the Time of Pandemic.” The panel discussion is open to the public and will take place via Zoom on Monday, October 12 at 5:00 p.m.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted communities of color. This panel will examine historical and contemporary dimensions of racial inequities in medicine and how to overcome those inequities.

This event is sponsored by the CWU Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, the CWU College of Arts and Humanities, CWU Libraries, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

This panel has been made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Preserving CWU’s Engaged Humanities Pedagogy, EthicsLab, and Digital Scholarship, Post-COVID. Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this panel do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
