Olivia Hirschey was awarded a national Phi Kappa Phi fellowship of $5,000 for graduate study. The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective honor society, awards fellowships to students entering their first year of graduate study. Ms. Hirschey was nominated by CWU's chapter, where she serves as Student Vice President on the chapter's executive board. Ms. Hirschey will graduate this June with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Spanish, and in the fall she will begin graduate school in linguistics at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
