Welcome to Your Orientation

We are proud to have you join the CWU family. Orientation is a great introduction to academic programs, campus resources, clubs and organizations, and much more. We are here to meet your needs as you join our Wildcat family. Orientation is available for first year students, transfer students, and families and support networks.

First-Year Students

CWU defines all students graduating with a high school diploma (including students with Running Start credits) or students with fewer than 40 college credits as first-year students.

Explore

Transfer Students (Ellensburg)

CWU defines all students with 40 or more transferable (post-secondary) college credits as transfer students.

Transition

Center & Online Students

Transfer students attending our Des Moines, Lynnwood, Moses Lake, Pierce County, Wenatchee, Yakima, Joint Base Lewis McChord or Online Campuses

Initiate

Support Networks

We define any parent, guardian, sibling, partner, friend, teacher, or advocate who are helping their student through this process as a support network.
