Warren Miller's 69th Film comes to CWU Nov. 15

(Ellensburg, Wash. – Nov. 15, 2018) Line of Descent. It’s been 69 years since ski-film pioneer Warren Miller picked up a camera to capture the wonder, the adventure, the humor and the beauty that is skiing. Since that time, Warren Miller film crews have traveled the globe—from storied slopes to hidden, snow-covered corners—to celebrate all things snowsports. In this year’s film, WME travels the globe, by land, air, and sea, exploring the ties that bind ski culture.

Here's a little taste of last years film until the new one is released!

WME will make its annual stop at CWU with its new film on Thursday, Nov. 15 for one screening in the Student Union and Recreation Center Theatre at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are $12 for CWU students, $16 for general admission and are available online at Wildcat Tickets, or in person at CWU Outdoor Pursuits & Rentals (OPR) and the Wildcat Shop. All tickets purchased the day of event are $16. There will be a $2 credit card fee on top of the ticket fee applied at the ticket window the night of the film. This $2 charge only applies to credit card sales.

OPR will host festivities before the film. Attendees will enjoy, chance for free lift tickets, and other giveaways throughout the night. This is also a great opportunity to run into some of the Northwest’s best skiers and snowboarders who often attend.

For anyone looking to kick start their winter with a thrill and bring to life their inner adventurer, this film is a can’t miss. Whether attendees are seasoned skiers or snowboarders, or want to get in on the sports for the first time, WME never disappoints. Come by and connect with your favorite ski hill. Share stories of winters past and the stoke for the coming winter!
