If I have to use Groupwise for my e-mail, how can I forward it to preferred e-mail program such as Hotmail or Yahoo?

Start up a GroupWise client and do the following:

  1. Click on Tools
  2. Click on Rules
  3. Click on New
  4. Enter a rule name, this is for reference only
  5. Set check box for "New Item" Received
  6. Set check box "Mail" under Item types
  7. Click on Add Action
  8. Select "Delegate"
  9. Enter your forwarding email address at your ISP
  10. Click OK
  11. Click on Add Action
  12. Select "Delete/Decline" to make sure forwarded mail is deleted
  13. Enter comment or leave empty, and Click on OK
  14. Click on Save

Back in Rules window, Rule name should be checked, if not Click on Enable. Don't forget help is available in GroupWise.

Canvas doesn't seem to work on my computer at home, but it does work on other computers. What is the problem?

To access Canvas, you need to use a web browser. For the most compatible browser please consult the Supported Browsers page. You can use either a Mac or Windows PC. You must have cookies, JavaScript, and Java enabled. 

  How do I learn how to use Canvas software?

Your instructor will normally give you instructions regarding the aspects of Canvas they would like you to use.

What should I do if I get kicked offline while taking an online test?

There are many things that can cause this to happen. The best thing to do is to contact your instructor immediately. Professors are able to verify that you started the test and were kicked off. It is up to your instructor to decide if they will allow you to resubmit. If for any reason they are unable to retrieve this information for making their decision, they will contact the Canvas Administrator.
