INTERSTATE: Where I-90 meets I-82 Opens November 2

The Sarah Spurgeon Gallery at Central Washington University will host INTERSTATE: Where I-90 meets I-82, a national juried exhibition organized by the CWU Department of Art. Proceeds from the artist entry fees are used to support undergraduate art student scholarships.

The juror for the exhibition, who selected the artwork and the award winners, is Emily Zimmerman. Zimmerman has been the Director of the Jacob Lawrence Gallery at the University of Washington since January of 2017. The opening events will take place on Thursday, November 2, beginning with a lecture by Zimmerman at 4:00 p.m. in Randall Hall, room 117. Her lecture will be followed by a reception in the gallery from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
