Do Not Miss Emergency Notifications, Update Your Info Now
The CWU Alert! system notifies students, staff, and faculty of emergencies that impact the operation of the Ellensburg campus, including campus closures and delays.
To keep from missing an alert, check your personal contact details in MyCWU.
The notification system automatically sends text, email, and phone messages using the information in your “Personal Details.” Review your profile today to ensure it’s current.
While it is extremely rare that CWU closes campus due to adverse weather, campus closures, suspensions, or other emergencies that impact Ellensburg campus operations will result in students and employees receiving a CWU Alert!
Follow the instructions and trust only official CWU communication channels for information and updates. Official CWU channels include: CWU Alert!, CWU Emergency Notification website, CWU Twitter @CentralWashU, and CWU Facebook @cwu.wildcats. Do not share information on social media or with the authorities that you are not certain about.
Students attending University Sites and Centers should follow instructions provided at those locations.
