May 25 Event Explores New Possibilities for Asian American Writing During Times of Crisis

Virtual Event Titled "Convergences" on May 25, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.  This event is hosted through Zoom.

Join partners from across campus for this engaging virtual event centered around the idea of "convergences."


Poets Chen Chen, Danni Quintos, and SJ Sindu will read from their work and discuss themes of gender, racism, family, historical experiences for Asian North American communities, and envision new possibilities and connection sites for Asian American futures. In preparation for this public discussion, English Department graduate students will lead a generative workshop drawing on the work of the authors. This event is moderated by Assistant English Professor M. O’Brien.

Leave with a reading list curated by CWU Libraries to gain a greater awareness about racism against Asian Americans in the United States.
