OPR hosts Outdoor Spring Symposium THURSDAY
The weather is warming up, which means it’s time for the CWU Outdoor Spring Symposium! Be sure to check out this year’s vendor fair Thursday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and an outdoor movie screening at 7 p.m. on the SURC East Patio. All events are free and open to the public.
Attendees will be able to buy gear, inquire about employment opportunities or plan trips at one of the many vendor booths, including Royal Sports Shop and Diamondback Bikes. The vendor fair will also feature live music courtesy of 88.1 the ‘Burg and free pizza and drinks from Pizza Colin and Red Bull.
The Outdoor Spring Symposium wraps up with a free screening of the Red Bull sponsored film “Where the Trail Ends” at 7 p.m. on the SURC East Patio. This movie follows the world's top free-ride mountain bikers as they search for untraveled terrain around the globe. The film will be shown outside on a protector allowing audiences to enjoy the natural weather at the same time.
