MCE Earth Day Family Festival & 2nd annual Salmon Run

For a day of family fun and Earth Day celebrations, don’t miss the Earth Day Family Festival Saturday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the lawn of Dean Hall. This event has something for everyone, from dancing troupes and face painting to activities to teach conservation and preservation. All activities at this event are free, and everyone is welcome to get in on the fun!

Don't forget to lace up those running shoes for the 2nd annual Salmon Run Saturday too! Check in is at 9 a.m. and the races will take off at 10 a.m. from the Dean Hall lawn. Participants can take on a 5K for $20 or a 10K for a $25 and kids can run the Small Fry Kid’s Dash for free! Participants can register at www.cwu.edu/tickets and all registered runners will be included in a raffle for great prizes from local businesses.

These events are sponsored by the Museum of Culture and Environment (MCE), Kittitas County Solid Waste, CWU University Recreation and Yakama Nation Fisheries.
