Lion Rock Visiting Writers Series at CWU: Fiction Writer Donna Miscolta

The Lion Rock Visiting Writers Series at CWU kicks off this spring with fiction writer Donna Miscolta, a Seattle based writer of Filipino and Mexican descent. Miscolta weaves her heritage through her work, including her first book, When the de La Cruz Family Danced, which Signal 8 Press published in 2011. From publishing her fiction and essays in Seattle Magazine, Calyx and New Millennium Writing, to receiving grants from Artist Trust and 4Culture, Miscolta has garnered praise for her work and a reputation for excellent story telling. Join Miscolta for her reading Tuesday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the CWU Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Theatre. Books will be on sale at the event courtesy of the Wildcat Shop. Admission is free and open to the public.

This event is sponsored by the CWU English Department, the CWU College of Arts and Humanities, Karen Gookin, the Wildcat Shop and the CWU Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies (CLLAS).
