CWU to Hold Public Hearing on Student Conduct Code November 23


Central Washington University is holding a public hearing to receive comments from students and other members of the campus community concerning the proposed adoption of amendments to the Student Conduct Code. The hearing will be held Tuesday, November 23, at 11 a.m. in Barge Hall 304.

The purpose of the proposed amendments is to update and clarify rules relating to student conduct and hearing procedures.

For reference, copies of the proposed Student Code and related amendments, as well as the official Hearing Notice as published in the Washington State Register (WSR 21-21-082), are attached. The Student Code amendments are proposed for adoption under Chapter 106-125 of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC 106-125). The proposal also includes related amendments to WAC 106-08-050 concerning informal hearings known as “brief adjudicative proceedings.”

Individuals may comment on the proposed rules during the public hearing or by providing written comments by November 23 to Kim Dawson, CWU rules coordinator, at kimberly.dawson@cwu.edu.
