Asia University Partners Welcome CWU Provost and AUAP Director

CWU Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Life Michelle DenBeste and Asia University America Program (AUAP) Director Nicki Kukar visited Japan earlier this month and were welcomed by a delegation from Asia University, including the president.

The Asia University America Program (AUAP) welcomed Central Washington University’s Provost and Vice President Michelle DenBeste and AUAP Director Nicki Kukar on December 6.
Kengo Nagatsuna, President of Asia University, met with Provost DenBeste and Kukar. During the meeting, President Nagatsuna expressed his sincere appreciation for the good relationship with CWU over many years. Also, Nagatsuna and DenBeste had a lively conversation as both share a similar background as Russian scholars.
In the evening, there was a social mixer with students who visited CWU and prospective AUAP students. Those students were thrilled to get a CWU logo sticker. The students who visited CWU shared their good memories and gave several tips for those who plan to visit CWU. The mixer featured warm conversations in a relaxed environment.
