Flutist Stephanie J. Miller will be performing a flute recital with pianist Maria Roditeleva-Wibe on Sunday, April 28 at 6 p.m. in the McIntyre Music Building Recital Hall. A 2006 graduate of CWU, Ms. Miller studied with Dr. Hal Ott and graduated with degrees in Flute Performance and Music Education. While she was at CWU she was winner of the National Flute Association Piccolo Competition. Miller completed her Masters in Flute Performance at University of California Santa Barbara. The program will include works by Taffanel, Clarke, Debussy, and Taktakishvili. Ms. Miller’s student teaching was at Morgan Middle School and Ellensburg High School under the tutelage of Don May. The recital is free and open to the public.
