CWU Symphony Orchestra Welcomes Efe Baltacigil To Ellensburg

The CWU Symphony Orchestra welcomes Seattle Symphony’s principal cellist, Efe Baltacigil, to Ellensburg on December 8. The ensemble will open the concert with the West Coast premiere of Dr. Martin Kennedy’s “Forest Dark and Stars Above”, commissioned by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. They will then present Sibelius’ final symphonic work, Symphony No. 7. Mr. Baltacigil will then join them on the Concert Hall stage and perform Dvořák’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in a stunning conclusion.
