Survey Findings

Assessing the Assessment

CWU administers several national surveys on a regular basis and also self-administers alumni surveys annually. This web page includes results for:

  • Alumni surveys – originally alumni surveys were done as part of the program review process. In Spring 2017, all CWU alums for whom CWU had contact information were surveyed. In Spring 2018, all alums that graduated during AY2016-17 were surveyed.
  • CWU administers the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) every other year on even years. CWU first administered the NSSE in 2004 and the FSSE in 2012.
  • In Spring 2017, CWU self-administered two topical modules from the National Survey of Student Engagement. The two modules were “Academic Advising” and “Inclusiveness and Engagement with Cultural Diversity.”
  • CWU has administered the Ruffalo Noel Levitz Priorities Survey for Online Learners (PSOL) on an annual basis since 2009.
