The School facilitates the community of scholars among faculty and students; encourages the advancement of knowledge and service through innovation, research, and creative expression; and oversees sponsored research and active research programs.
We work with graduate students, faculty, scholars, and departments to promote and support graduate education, creative expression, scholarship and research; recruit, admit, support, and matriculate qualified students of all racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds; assess and assure the excellence of CWU graduate programs; and work in concert with the Graduate Council to strengthen and review programs, policies, faculty development, and academic standards.
