Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony

On the evening of Friday, June 8, 2018, at 6:00 P.M. the School of Graduates Studies and Research will be hosting its first annual Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony in Nicholson Pavilion (Ellensburg campus). This ceremony will integrate the conferring of degrees into the existing hooding ceremony to create one Commencement event for graduate students. This ceremony is intended to celebrate the successful completion of all Master’s and Education Specialist (EdS) degrees. A reception will follow the event.

On Sunday, June 10, 2018, the commencement ceremony for all Westside Center graduates will be held at ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to attend this ceremony. Graduate students opting to attend this ceremony will be hooded on stage by their faculty mentor.

More information regarding the details of these ceremonies will be released in the coming months. Students attending the Friday, June 8 ceremony will be checking in no later than 5:00 P.M. at the Nicholson Pavilion. If you have any questions please contact Leslie Lotspeich
