The Winter 2023 Scholarly Café series kicks off at Noon on Tuesday, February 7 in Black Hall 105 with a talk by Dr. Sterling Quinn. He will be discussing ways that Latino-oriented businesses are represented in popular online maps made by companies such as Google and Apple. Dr. Quinn and graduate student Daphne Condon studied whether these businesses are included in the maps at the same rate as other businesses. See the flyer below for more information.
The Scholarly Café series is an opportunity for faculty, students, and guests to share their research and perspectives with the CWU community.
