Isang Bagsak: Honoring Cesar is a week-long event that focuses on farm worker rights and exploitation. This also is a chance for CWU students to learn more about labor leaders and civil rights activists Dolores Huerta and Larry Itliong. Join us at 1pm for the Farmworkers' panel with CWU faculty, students, and Eduardo Chavez, Cesar Chavez's grandson! Following the panel at 5pm Eduardo will be hosting the screening of the new award winning documentary he produced called "Hailing Cesar."

Enjoy and evening with Dr. Stella Moreno as she begins the night with poems read in Spanish and then with English translation.  Then, join in a discussion of the nuances of the translation creative process, and participate in some interactive activities centered on poetry and the act of translation.
