Type: Professional development
Delivery method: Hands-on training
Experience level: Intermediate; for those with some experience
Length: Two hours
Description: You've learned out to set up a table (see Access: Getting Started) but entering the data directly into the table is unwieldy and a printout of the table data is unsightly. Forms make data entry a snap and the Reports tool help present your data in useful and eye-pleasing ways. This course covers how to create and edit forms and reports using both the wizards and from scratch. This class will be taught using Access 2010.
Online options: Microsoft provides free online training for Access 2010 here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access-help/ with videos and courses. There are also links for training on using the older versions of Access (2007 and 2003). You can also get free training for Microsoft Office programs for the PC via the Microsoft IT Academy. Instructions for setting up an account, logging on to the IT Academy and a class list are available via the Wildcat Connection.
If you are interested in this class but don't see it on the class schedule, please fill out the registration form and indicate you'd like to be on the wait list in the memo field (question number 4) at the bottom of the form.
