The iCat Project: Managing Technological Change

Thursday, February 28th, 2013

12-1 p.m., Shaw Smyser Room 111

Creating the technology is the easy part.

Managing and implementing a large-scale technological upgrade at a major institution is not.

The 24-month, multi-million dollar upgrade to CWU's technological systems is a perfect example. Gene Shoda of CedarCrestone, who is overseeing the iCAT upgrade, will give a special presentation on this project and the management skills necessary for its successful completion.

Learn about:

  • The project management techniques being used at CWU today
  • How project management must incorporate soft skills like effective communication and change management
  • Possible careers in Project Management

Space is limited!

Pre-register at the ITAM Office, Shaw 223 and be entered into our drawing!
