The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Administrative Management provides a degree path for students into one of today's major employment growth areas. Our curriculum, designed by subject matter experts with guidance from industry professionals, addresses the current demand for tech-savvy individuals who are also able to effectively lead and motivate teams, manage projects, and integrate technological solutions.

Your course of study:

First you will complete the Core Courses (61 credits) focusing on the key knowledge areas of ITAM: networking, web, information management, cybersecurity and human-centered skills. Following these are specialization courses that allow for advanced study in one of the five areas. While an on campus program, ITAM offers many classes in online or hybrid formats to better fit student schedules.

ITAM is also a four quarter department, offering all Core classes and many specialization courses during summer quarter to help students get ahead in their degree program.

For students who already have a Bachelor degree or a transferrable Associate degree (DTA), the department also offers a 100% Online Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Administrative Management or Retail Management and Technology. To learn more, click here.

We encourage you to apply for your ITAM major early, even as soon as your freshman year. Once enrolled in our program you will begin working with a knowledgeable ITAM advisor to design your academic course of study at CWU and make sure you are fulfilling all of the requirements for successful degree completion.

ITAM minors make a major difference!

ITAM also offers six different minors and certificate programs, some of which can be completed online and some which are only available on the Ellensburg Campus. It is possible to both major and minor in ITAM, enhancing your professional credentials. Ask your ITAM advisor for more information.
