Information Technology and Administrative Management

College of Education and Professional Studies

Kathy Hatfield, Lecturer

Kathy Hatfield, Lecturer, Information Technology and Administrative Management (ITAM) at CWUOffice: Virtual

I am humbled to be able to teach for the ITAM  Department.  I started at CWU earning a BA in Communications, then a BS in Business and Marketing Education, and finally, a M.Ed in Business and Marketing Education. I had the opportunity to work and coach at CWU for several years before becoming a high school business and marketing teacher in Selah, Toppenish, and most currently, Pasco. I believe CWU provides a quality education with its small class size and individual attention. I've been involved with Future Business Leaders (FBLA) and DECA for 20 years and enjoy teaching!  It's a wonderful profession and provides me the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with students each day.

Advice to Students:

If you're taking online classes make sure to read your course announcements daily!  Take advantage of the opportunities provided to network with your classmates, instructors/professors, and other professionals. Take risks with no regrets!
