I joined the CWU ITAM faculty in 2014 and teach ITAM core classes. With more than 25 years in IT Management, my responsibilities included recruiting, developing, and retaining a highly productive workforce. One of my main strengths is contributing to the professional development of teams and creating engaged teams to meet an organization’s goals. I also have five years experience as a communications consultant, planning and delivering communications, documentation, and change management results.

I've held many positions in the Information Technology field including:

Advice to Students:

To be successful in your classes, check CWU email and Canvas inbox daily. Set your Canvas notifications to receive Announcements, Canvas Conversations, and Assignment Submission Comments. Read all Assignment Instructions carefully. Every week, read the content in each Canvas module. Work on assignments early. Ask your instructor when you have questions or need some help.

Training, Documentation, Intern and Administrative Services Manager, 2004-2008

  • Managed team that produced e-learning courses, communication plans, and technical documentation

  • Orchestrated several moves of up to 700 IT staff to new locations
