The Office of International Studies and Programs monitors updates and changes to immigration regulations and policies for international students and scholars. Travel Ban 3.0 is currently in effect. On September 24, 2017, President Trump issued Proclamation 9645 (Travel Ban 3.0) pursuant to Section 2(e) of Executive Order 13780. The travel ban limits entry to the United States by certain citizens of seven countries: Iran, Libya, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, and Somalia.
