Which learner group applies to my role in human subjects' research?
In Question 1 of the CITI registration process, you will be asked to choose which learner group applies to your role in human subjects’ research. Below are the definitions for each learner group to help you select which one applies to you.
Researchers/Investigators: CWU faculty staff, students, or other personnel associated with CWU, with major and/or primary responsibility for carrying out or overseeing research procedures involving human subjects.
HSRC Members: Appointed members of the HSRC responsible for the review of human subjects research including community member(s).
HSRC Chair: Appointed Chair of the HSRC responsible for the review of human subjects research and facilitation of full board meetings.
Institutional Official: An individual who signs, and has the authority to sign, the institution's Federalwide Assurance, making a commitment on behalf of the institution that the requirements of the Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects are met.
