FAQ's

When do Civil Service employees get their pay increases (Periodic Increment Date - PID)?

An employee’s PID is initially set based on their initial appointment to a civil service position and is the date that determines when civil service employees receive their annual pay increases. If an employee is hired at step A of a position, their first increase comes at six months; if an employee is hired above step A their first increase comes at twelve months.
