Welcome to Omak GEAR UP!! The 2008/2009 school year will bring some wonderful new opportunities to this year's GEAR UP Students. GEAR UP serves students in the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades this year. We will follow this cohort of students through graduation.

FIG (Freshmen Interest Group) begin in September. This is an opportunity for Freshmen to check in, receive assistance in transitioning to high school, receive tutoring, and explore career and educational opportunities. FIG meetings held during high school lunch in the GEAR UP room. Monday through Thursdays.
Wenatchee Valley College and GEAR UP have collaborated to offer GED and ESL courses for parents. GEAR UP will pay tuition for parents of GEAR UP students who which to participate.
