Puyallup Tribe of Indians Provides Scholarship Support to CWU Students

ELLENSBURG, Wash.—For the second consecutive year, the Central Washington University Foundation has received a $10,000 grant from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians to support the Puyallup Tribe of Indians Scholarship program. 

This scholarship will award 10 CWU students with $1,000 scholarships. Qualified students must be from Pierce County, demonstrate financial need, be in good academic standing, and be a first-generation student with preference given to Native American students. 

Traci Goff, director of foundation relations at CWU, values the support from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Puyallup Tribe of Indians for awarding Central with this grant,” Goff said. “The scholarships provided through this grant will have a profound impact on Central students, assisting them in attaining a quality education from Central Washington University.”
