Family-friendly "Nature of Night" on November 18 Is both Fun and Educational

This upcoming Saturday is the perfect day to spend learning about the Nature of Night at Central Washington University. Drop in between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., you and your family will discover fascinating facts about the solar system, caves, nocturnal animals and more! All activities begin in the Science I building. The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!

In partnership with the Early Learning Coalition, there will be special activities for babies and children to age five. There will be hands-on exploration of nighttime science, with activities and displays. In addition, there will be planetarium shows in the new Science II building.

Special bonus: Cub Scouts, Webelo Scouts, Brownies, and Junior Girl Scouts can earn points toward their astronomy-related badges.

The Nature of Night is presented by CWU’s College of the Sciences. The event is free and open to the public, and parking in CWU lots is free on the weekends.
