Amplify your career prospects with a minor in robotics and automation. This popular field provides a number of employment opportunities, in a variety of settings.
The fields of robotics and automation have been in a state of constant growth for the last several decades. With industries struggling to keep costs down by implementing more automation, there is a strong desire to hire people with a background in robotics and the fundamentals of industrial automation.
The Robotics & Automation Minor (RAM) introduces you to mechatronics engineering and prepares you for automation-related careers in process control, manufacturing, computerized hardware/software integration, and sustainable automated systems. You will engage in real life industrial processes related to automation in an industrial robotics laboratory setting.
All majors are encouraged to apply and transfer students are welcome. Students will need ETSC departmental permission to enter the program and must earn a 2.25 cumulative grade point average in the minor courses.
