CWU Construction Management Alumnus named National Top Field Employee of 2013

The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association Inc. (NRC) has named the winners of its 2013 Field Employee and Rail Construction Project of the Year Awards.

The association chose Craig Almont of Hamilton Construction as the Field Employee of the Year. He joined Hamilton Construction two years ago after attending Central Washington University's construction management program. One year after his hiring, Craig was sent to a job in Idaho where he not only exceeded the company's project goals and expectations, but also immersed himself into the community and joined the coaching staff of the local high school's struggling football team, NRC officials said in an award announcement.
