Eligible Employees, Including Students, Urged to Sign Up for April 13 Vaccination Clinic

Friday, April 9, 2021

Central Washington University staff in 14 recently eligible departments — along with those in phase 1B, tiers 3 and 4 — are encouraged to sign up online right away for a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on campus Tuesday, April 13.

The clinic, presented by CWU Student Health Services and Kittitas Valley Healthcare, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the SURC Ballroom and will deliver 300 shots of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Starting today, signups are being taken at Signup for the 300 vaccination appointments. The appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis for CWU staff members — including student employees — in the following departments:

  • Brooks Library
  • Student Union and Recreation Center (including Wildcat Shop, Dining, Recreation, and Student Union)
  • Facilities Management
  • ECLC (daycare center)
  • Testing Services
  • Health & Counseling
  • Housing
  • Registrar’s Office
  • Visitation Program
  • Cashier’s Office
  • Business Services & Contracts
  • Surplus
  • Human Resources
  • Information Services

If all of the appointments have been filled, a wait list will be provided on Signup Genius. Individuals on the wait list who are selected will be contacted by CWU on Tuesday.

Employees who are unable to secure an appointment Tuesday will become eligible April 15 when all Washingtonians 16 and older become eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Volunteers are also needed to help CWU and KVH personnel administer vaccines at Tuesday’s clinic. If you are interested in helping, please sign up here.
