Employees with Physical Disabilities |
CWU employees with physical disabilities who require an ergonomic evaluation of their workspace and/or special furnishings (i.e., office chair, adjustable-height desk, etc.) may document their disabilities with Human Resources/Disability Services and request these services/auxiliary aids as reasonable accommodation to minimize the functional limitations of their disabilities. |
Employees with no Physical Disabilities |
CWU employees who do not have physical disabilities but believe they need an ergonomic evaluation of their workspace and/or special furnishings (i.e., office chair, adjustable-height desk, etc.) are encouraged to use the links below to self-assess their work environments and make adjustments. If further evaluation or adjustment is required, employees should discuss their needs with their Supervisor. Departments who wish to arrange a fee-for-service workspace evaluation and/or purchase ergonomically correct furnishings may contact Eastside Vocational Services at (509) 962-1950 to request a cost estimate. * Please note that the employee’s department is responsible for funding the requested evaluation(s) and furniture/equipment purchases. |
