Economics is the study of decision making. In our Economics major, you will gather, manage, and analyze economic and business data to understand and predict trends to make informed choices. You will learn to use the latest methods in data analysis in the Economic and Business Forecasting specialization. This specialization teaches you to analyze prices, sales, business cycles, and commodity flows to better prepare you for a career in economic forecasting.
This program offers you the chance to receive individualized attention and mentoring from industry professionals and educators.
Students in this program are actively encouraged to pursue faculty-guided individual studies and internships relevant to the field, with a particular focus on developing their quantitative skills.
This program provides great preparation for economics, finance and analytics graduate programs as well.
