Bachelor of Science Degree

Earning a degree in tech has never been easier. In partnership with Highline college, this new-to-CWU-Des-Moines program:

  • Offers increased transferrability by allowing more course equivalencies and transfer pathways beyond the traditional direct transfer agreement
  • Is affordable and accessible - in-state tuition for three quarters is less than $7k
  • Considers the needs of students entering college with various levels of mathematics preparation
  • Offers a mix of face-to-face and online classes
  • Focuses on cutting edge topics and technology including networks, databases, machine learning, big data analysis, cybersecurity, and data mining.

The Computer Science program at CWU Des-Moines was created to fulfill the needs of local employers in the burgeoning tech sector in the Seattle-Tacoma market. A BS degree in Computer Science prepares students for these rewarding careers and opportunities. Our Computer Science grads land internships and jobs with leading companies including Docusign, Salesforce, Microsoft, Tableau, Intel, T-Mobile, Nintendo, and Amazon.

Choose CWU-Des Moines for a first-class, affordable education without worrying about incurring unreasonable debt. We may be able to help you pay for college. Partial tuition waivers may be available for computer science students.

“We have companies coming onto campus for recruitment, both for internships and for full time jobs. Graduates will get jobs. That’s it.” – Donald Davendra, CWU professor of Computer Science
