Assistant Professor of Dance

Central Washington University Dance Program is excited to announce the promotion of Faculty member, Gabrielle McNeillie to Assistant Professor. McNeillie received her early training at Brockport School of Dance and Performing Arts and the Rochester City Ballet. She graduated cum laude from The University of Akron with a BFA in Dance Performance and after a decade of performing professionally, she earned her MFA in Dance/Choreography from The University of Arizona. As an educator, choreographer, and dance, Gabrielle believes that the discipline of dance can add tremendous value to education. Students who study dance learn life lessons in cooperation, collaboration, self-analyzation, and reflection, which can enhance their future successes regardless of career choice.
