CWU Wildcats Sprint To Success in Pullman

The Central Washington University Indoor Track team finished its second indoor meet of the season, competing on the campus of Washington State University for the WSU Indoor two-day event.

The women's 4x400 meter relay found the most success this weekend as the Wildcats placed two teams in the top 10. The combination of Ashley Harmon, Tianna Banfro, Ali Anderson and Jayna Inderbitzin finished in second place in the relay with a time of 4:07.23.

Julia Inderbitzen, Katia Hawley, Kaitlyn McKinney, and Anna Hood took ninth place in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:24.23.

The men's 4x400 meter relay also placed in the top three, as the combination of Garret Stuek, Ryan Gunther, Darren Arndt and Trevaughn Scott took second place with a time of 3:31.52.

Kent McKinney Jr. raced to a fourth place finish in the 60-meter dash. Luke Plummer captured a second place score in the triple jump with a jump of 14.10-meters, and Armando Tafoya took fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 16.00-meters.

The Wildcats will compete again when the team travels to Seattle, WA to compete at the University of Washington.
