CWU Adds Two More Vaccination Clinic Dates to This Month’s Calendar

Wednesday, April 14, 2021

Central Washington University will host two more COVID-19 vaccination clinics this month following a successful on-campus clinic Tuesday.

Now that all Washingtonians 16 and over are eligible to receive the vaccine, CWU Student Health Services will be presenting two more clinics April 20 and 27, expecting to vaccinate as many students and employees as possible this spring and summer.

Both of the clinics are for CWU students and employees only, and will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Ballroom. Please be prepared to present your Connection Card at check-in.

The Kittitas County Health Department plans to commit up to 300 doses of the Moderna vaccine, which requires a second dose 28 days after the first one is administered. Details for the May follow-up clinics will be available soon.

Signups for both the April 20 and 27 events are on a first-come, first-served basis at SignupGenius.com. If the appointments fill up, a waiting list will be provided.

Non-medical volunteers are also needed for both clinics. Signups are available here.

The April 13 vaccination clinic in the SURC Ballroom — the first one on campus since the Ellensburg campus became an official vaccination site last week — delivered 265 shots to members of the CWU community.
