Consider teaching for CWU Continuing Education

CWU Continuing Education provides lifelong learning opportunities, education, and training for all ages. Exciting, convenient, and affordable public programs meet the needs of those wanting to explore and continue their education. With a huge variety of programming, Continuing Education is constantly looking to hire new instructors.
We are now accepting proposals to develop courses and fill current and future part-time lecturer (instructor) positions in a variety of topics. Primary responsibility is to lead instruction for classes in the categories listed below:
- Personal Enrichment (Life & Leisure)
- Youth Programs
- Career & Workforce Development
- Workforce Training
- Corporate Training
- Professional Development for K-12 Educators
What we'll need from you:
- Your completed Course Proposal Form
- Your resume or curriculum vitae
Deadlines For Submission
Approximate deadlines for submission are:
- Fall Quarter: June 1
- Winter Quarter: September 1
- Spring Quarter: January 1
- Summer Session: March 1
Review Process
Within a month of receiving your submission, we will review the proposal. If we feel your course fits our community's needs, we will contact you to schedule an interview and discuss the development of the course or program further.
Please note: All CE programming requires a course evaluation form from each participant. You as the instructor will be responsible for the distribution and collection of the CE Evaluation Form at the end of your course. CE will provide you with the Evaluation Form to be used.
