Computational Science Masters Degree Program

Completed applications received by the Graduate School by March 6th will receive priority consideration for Graduate Assistantships. See the Prospective students page for more details. After the priority deadline, applications will be processed on a weekly basis.

Do you like to solve complex problems? Are you looking for a degree that will place you in one of the hottest jobs in the country?

Computational science is the field of study that uses computers to analyze and solve scientific problems. More than 750,000 jobs in the United States alone will be created in this sector in the next six years. CWU's computational science master’s program is the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.

The heart of CWU's interdisciplinary program is computer-related, but the applications will be studied in the context of a number of scientific domains, including: • biological sciences • environmental sciences • chemistry • computer science • geology • mathematics • physics
