Four Digital Journalism students published articles in the summer issue of KV Living, the quarterly magazine of local newspaper The Daily Record.
Jack Lambert has the cover story, “Dust, Trails & Smiles,” about the local mountain biking scene.
In “Art and Medicine Intertwined,” reporter Natalie Hyland talks to Elise and Bruce Herman, two local doctors who have dedicated much of their free time to promoting the arts in the local community.
Lexi Prante delves into the trend and people behind “The Crossfit Craze,” and Bailee Wicks has a short piece on revamping camping goodies with “S’mores Fun”
The articles were all conceived of, reported and written for Jennifer Green’s Freelance Magazine Writing seminar (Com 409) spring quarter.
