CWU is holding three commencement ceremonies in June:

  • Saturday, June 11, 9:30 a.m., Tomlinson Stadium for graduates in the College of Business and the College of Education and Professional Studies.
  • Saturday, June 11, 2:00 p.m., Tomlinson Stadium (1610 N. Walnut St., Ellensburg), for graduates in the College of Arts and Humanities, College of the Sciences, and Interdisciplinary and Individual Study majors.
  • Sunday, June 12, 1:00 p.m., ShoWare Center (625 W. James St., Kent) for graduates of CWU at Des Moines, Pierce, Lynnwood, and Everett.

You are eligible to participate in a CWU commencement ceremony if you have completed a degree in summer or fall 2015, winter 2016, or have applied to graduate spring or summer quarter of 2016.

To participate in commencement you need to register. Registration will be open approximately March 7 through May 23.

In the spring you will receive information about "Grad Kickoff," which puts everything you need for commencement at your fingertips. You may ask questions about commencement, order a cap and gown, pick up your honors tassel, or choose graduation announcements.

Registrar Services will notify all students who qualify for honors tassels via their CWU email account. Honors tassels may be picked up at Grad Kickoff, Registrar Services, or your University Center campus administration office. Please note that picture ID will be required.

Master’s degree candidates should contact the School of Graduate Studies and Research to check the status of their degree completion.
