You are eligible to participate in a CWU commencement ceremony if you have completed a degree in summer or fall 2014, winter 2015, or have applied to graduate spring or summer quarter of 2015.
To participate in commencement you need to register. Registration will be open March 9 through May 25.
In the next few weeks you will receive information about "Grad Kickoff," which puts everything you need for commencement at your fingertips. You may ask questions about commencement, order a cap and gown, pick up your honors tassel, or choose graduation announcements.
Registrar Services will notify all students who qualify for honors tassels via their CWU email account. Honors tassels may be picked up at Grad Kickoff, Registrar Services, or your University Center campus administration office. Please note that picture ID will be required.
Master’s degree candidates should contact the School of Graduate Studies and Research to check the status of their degree completion.
Tickets are not required for admission. Seating will be available in the Tomlinson Stadium and on additional bleachers adjacent to the grandstand.
Entrances for persons of disability are located on the north and south ends of the grandstand. Those needing special seating will find it on the northwest side of the field.
The McIntyre Recital Hall will be open for family and friends with special needs or those who cannot sit outside in the weather (no tickets are necessary). There will be a live video feed from Tomlinson Stadium to the Recital Hall.
Tickets are not required for admission. Seating is available in the grandstand only. Doors will open approximately an hour prior to the ceremony.
Disabled seating is clearly marked at the ShoWare Center, as well as designated areas for wheelchair access. Hearing-impaired students/guests are requested to sit in section 114 on the west side of the stands to be near the interpreter, who will be signing from the platform.
